Recent Developments in Our Mission

It’s been amazing to see how God has been working in our hearts lately. We’re just a small part of something much bigger that He’s doing all around the world. So… what have I been up to lately?

Honestly, as I write this, I feel a whirlwind of emotions. It’s hard not to share everything on my heart. However, there are a few key things I’d love to tell you about. I’d really appreciate your prayers too.

If you’ve talked to me recently or read some of my past posts, you probably know that here at Give to Give, we’ve been navigating some significant changes. We’re learning to stay obedient to God’s call, even when it stretches us. We strive to walk humbly in that calling.

Intentional Growth in Our Mission

One of the biggest shifts has been our focus on becoming more intentional with the House of Prayer and nurturing a heart for the nations. Alongside this, God has been deepening our commitment to discipleship. This year, we’ve been focusing on several key areas:

  • Discipling Families: We visit six different villages—Chimachoy, San Rafael, Popabaj, Chuchaca Alto, Chuchaca Bajo, and Chuinimachica. We walk alongside families, helping them live out their faith daily and experience restoration.

  • Running the Gracia Women’s Program: Here, we disciple 18 women of God who are discovering freedom, healing, and renewed purpose.

  • Working with Pastors: We engage with 30 pastors from different villages, encouraging unity and a shared vision for the nations.

  • Supporting Short-Term Teams and Interns: We pour into those who come through Give to Give, equipping them to return home ready to disciple others and live lives of prayer and worship.

Each of these areas has fostered so much unity within our community. We’ve partnered with other organizations because we truly believe that Guatemala is called to be a light to the nations. And not just Guatemala—Latin America too! We believe God is calling His people here to rise up, intercede, worship, and go out to the nations to establish His Kingdom.

The Heart of Our Pastors’ Gatherings

I’d especially love to share about our pastors’ gatherings. These gatherings have been so close to our hearts. Our most recent event felt like a true gift from the Lord. We invited 30 pastor couples to a dinner, creating a space for them to step away from their villages. For once, they weren’t serving; our team was serving them.

We had the privilege of worshiping alongside them, sharing a teaching, and watching as the Lord filled them with strength and hope for this new season. There’s such a passion for unity in the body of Christ here. At the same time, we want to ignite their hearts for the nations. It doesn’t matter if they come from a small village in Guatemala; the Lord is still calling them to go and make disciples.

We truly believe we’ll see people from these villages going out to the nations, proclaiming His name and establishing His Kingdom. We’ve been walking closely with these pastors, listening to them, understanding their struggles, praying with them, and simply being present in their lives.

Watching them worship together, pray for one another, and set aside church names and ministry titles has been a powerful testimony of what God is doing. Honestly, it’s been such a blessing and privilege to serve them in this way.

Our Ongoing Passion

Through all of this, our passion remains the same: to see disciples made, hearts transformed, and God’s Kingdom advancing here in Guatemala, across Latin America, and to the nations.

For now, I’d love to ask you to keep us in prayer for a revival in the Latin American church. Pray that we would go to the nations with clarity, wisdom, and a deep passion for what God is calling us to do.
