I’ve spent so many days trying to put into words what I’m feeling, trying to make sense of this season I’m in. It hasn’t been easy. Some days feel heavy, others pass by so quickly I barely notice the sun setting. But in every single one of them, I’ve seen God.

I’ve seen Him in a prayer whispered when no one else was around. In the smile of a stranger. In a message sent at just the right time. In a song that spoke directly to my heart. It’s like life is a collection of tiny, perfect moments. And no matter how hard things get, there’s always a glimpse of God somewhere in the middle of it.

These past few weeks serving at the Antigua House of Prayer have been nothing short of a privilege. I’ve found myself growing in ways I never expected—playing instruments I’d never touched before, and sometimes even singing (yes, I know… please don’t imagine that!). But it’s been real. Raw. Beautiful. There’s something so special about seeing people come and go, yet all growing in the same direction—towards understanding what a house of prayer truly is and why it’s so vital for the church in these times.

And it’s not just about music or gatherings. It’s about presence.

Serving isn’t about doing “good things” for the sake of being good—it’s about using what I have to serve others with purpose. That’s why I’m part of Give to Give. It’s not about big acts; it’s about small, intentional ones—offering what’s in my hands. Sometimes it’s a prayer. Sometimes it’s a smile. Sometimes it’s sitting down with someone, really listening, and simply being there.

People don’t just need answers—they need presence. They need someone who will listen, pray, and remind them that life will have problems, but we don’t walk through them alone. The goal is not a perfect life. The goal is a life lived with Jesus.

Carry each other´s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:18

Imagine this: you walk into a village where the needs are overwhelming—poverty, no clean water, limited healthcare. The natural instinct might be to jump in with quick solutions. But instead, you stop. You pause. You take a whole hour to pray.

Just pray.

It might seem simple, even unproductive. But that hour is powerful. You sit, maybe on a hill overlooking the village, and you let yourself take it all in—the rustling of the trees, children laughing in the distance, the sun warming the faces of people who live with so much resilience. And in that moment, you pray. You pray life over the village. You pray hope into the streets. You pray strength into the hearts of its people. And maybe, most importantly, you let God shape your own heart.

That hour of prayer becomes your foundation. It helps you step into that place—not just with plans or resources—but with purpose, with compassion, with eyes wide open to both the beauty and the pain. You’re not just offering help. You’re offering presence. Understanding. Love.

Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

1 John 3:18

Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

Matthew 25:40

That’s the kind of heart we’re cultivating here. That’s what a house of prayer is really about—learning to listen, to intercede, and to carry the presence of God into every space we step into.

And the beautiful thing? You can be a part of it too. Whether you’re here in Antigua or on the other side of the world, your involvement matters.

There are two ways you can walk with me in this journey:

  1. Through prayer.

Please pray over my life, my heart, and the mission God has called me to. Pray for strength on the hard days, clarity when I can’t see the next step, and joy in the little things. Your prayers are powerful, and they truly sustain me.

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

— James 5:16

  1. Through support.

If God places it on your heart to come alongside what He’s doing here, there are opportunities to partner in practical ways as well. Serving at the Antigua House of Prayer and walking with communities in villages like Chimachoy, San Rafael, Chicasanga, and Popabaj is only possible through the faithfulness of those who feel led to sow into this work. Your support—whether through prayer, encouragement, or giving—helps make it all possible.

If you feel prompted, you can learn more or give here:

Whether it’s through your prayers, your encouragement, or simply sharing this journey with others—thank you. You’re not just supporting me. You’re becoming part of every smile, every prayer, every moment of impact.

Let’s keep building something eternal—together.
